Cabinet Construction

Our cabinets are constructed per KCMA industry standards. Assembled products are screwed, glued and stapled ensuring a high-quality craftsmanship finish to our products. Once assembled, the look is seamless and unsightly screw holes and assembly blocks are out of sight. Our Premier and Select lines are solid wood construction, providing the highest quality durability for easy installation and a lifetime of use. Our Value line cabinets are a hybrid construction: particleboard sides and solid wood back to add rigidity for installation. Drawer boxes are also solid wood and dovetail construction. All drawer slides are full extension, under mount and soft close.
All doors, drawer fronts and frames are constructed from solid Birch or Poplar hardwood.
Our Premier and Select cabinet lines feature 4-sided drawer boxes constructed from 5/8” thick solid hardwood with dovetail joints. These lines come standard with full extension under mount soft close drawer glides. Our Value line feature 4-sided drawer boxes constructed from ½” thick plywood. These cabinets come standard with side mounted drawer glides with ¾" extension. Value series drawers can be upgraded to dovetail construction with full extension under mount soft close drawer glides.

Our Premier and Select cabinet lines come standard with natural interiors. Our Value lines have a veneered interior that matches the exterior.

All of our Premier Line cabinets have both soft close doors and drawers. Our Select Line cabinets have soft close drawers and our Value Line cabinets have soft close doors. Both the Select and Value lines can be upgraded to soft close hardware.

No.  All of our cabinets come with finished exteriors that match the doors.

Yes. All of our cabinets are KCMA certified and E-1 certified. Our factories are ISO-14001 compliant.

Yes. All of our cabinets feature finished sides in the same exterior color as the door style selected. It is not necessary to add any additional panels for exposed ends.

Ordering

Kitchen Cabinet Distributors does not sell directly to consumers.  To purchase our products, homeowners must work with an authorized Kitchen Cabinet Distributors Dealer.

Yes. Based on availability, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors offers a set list of standard modifications.

Shipping & Delivery

Standard flat pack orders are typically processed and shipped out of our facility within two business days. Orders requiring assembly or modifications are typically processed and shipped within seven  business days.
 
Transit time to your shipping address will vary depending on your location.

Most orders will be shipped on a pallet via LTL (Less Than Truck Load) carrier. Some small items may ship via UPS. We also offer a delivery option for parts of North Carolina.

If an order appears to be damaged or incorrect upon delivery, customers MUST note it on the Bill of Lading at the time of delivery and contact KCD Customer Care within two (2) business days at 919.833.6532 or CustomerCare@kcdus.com. All damaged products should be left in their packaging and set aside for review.  Any orders accepted and signed by customers without such notice will be considered complete.

Yes, you can pick up your order. The KCD warehouse is open for customer pickup during normal business hours, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST Monday through Friday, not including company holidays. NOTE: Customers must provide a Requested Pick Up Date to SUBMIT an order.

A customer representative, 18 years of age or older, must be present to receive the merchandise at the agreed upon date and time. If no one is available to receive the delivery, a Cancellation Fee plus the cost of the re-delivery will be applied to the order. The KCD Shipping Department can be reached at 919.833.6532 or at Shipping@kcdus.com.

Once your order has shipped you will receive an email with your packing list. On the packing list you will find your tracking information. You can also contact our Shipping Department at 919.833.6532 or Shipping@kcdus.com

Dealer Questions

Yes.  Kitchen Cabinet Distributors offers catalogs for both 20/20 and ProKitchen.

Kitchen Cabinet Distributors does offer Design Assistance Services. Services are priced by the designer on a job-by-job basis using a tiered pricing system. Services must be paid in advance and are non-refundable.

No.  Kitchen Cabinet Distributors does not install cabinets, but we would be happy to recommend one of our Dealer partners for your installation needs.

Kitchen Cabinet Distributors warrants that all of our Products will be free from defects in workmanship and material for a period of five years from the date of shipment from our facility or that of our supplier. Please read our full warranty for additional details.
Products must be returned within 30 days of the invoice date. All boxes containing returned Products must be unopened and undamaged. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned Products, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors will issue a credit for the invoice amount of the returned Products, less a Restocking Fee. Under no circumstances can assembled Products be returned.
